Not worth putting coilovers in a Cab. Cabs are for cruising not racing!

Get a decent set of lowering springs, around £100, spending another £200 on coilovers is a waste.
Then get a really decent set of wheels/tyres and a top class detailing/valet.

Coilovers
Wheels.
sounds like the way foward.
Don't forget little things like clear/smoked repeaters indicators can make a real difference for not a lot of bucks.

You;ve never seen me drive then. I think coily's are the way to go. Got wheels and smoked rears, just need the front and repeaters doing, if anyone can help with that.
Ah new stereo and speakers too.... then I can pimp it to the max as I drive....lol

So foxy how often do you change your settings?
With set height springs available in so many sizes I just dont see the justification of the additional expense. Its just a bling thing, THE thing to have. far more worthwhile in my opinion is adjustable shocks.

So when do ya wanna race NM???

yadda yadda yadda, coilovers are just better, not just for the fact that you can raise and lower them, they are generally made better. the bling thing? you can't really see them, THE thing to have.... err well if you want top quality suspension you have to go coilovers. apart from top end eibach/koni or H&R regular set ups nothing can touch a decent set of coilovers. i guess there is a reason why decent coilovers top a grand? not just to be able to raise and lower them surely?

In my humble opinion coilovers are really only for going racing with a track/road car so you can reset your suspension to suit.
As for cost well just coz something is dearer dont mean its better, its that old Emperor's clothes thing. The designer label.
personally I rate Spax and they tend to be relatively cheap.

that wasn't aimed at you foxy, i have coilovers and my car is slammed!

len spax suck. just because they were good 5 or so years ago doesn't mean they are still good. look around, they fell off in terms of quality big style which is why hardly anyone uses them any more.
