Hi,
I recently ha a dilemma, wanted to spend a few k on a mk2 golf. Any way I've decided to stick with my current 8v as I have tons of history and know where I stand with the condition.

I thought the first thing to sort out is the wheels so I went and  got my self a new set of Borbet b, just need to order some toyo's.
Basically does any one know who can sort my arches and do a good job in the west midlands/north west area?
Also need g60 brake conversion and g60 arches.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Midlands VW would be able to do it. Where abouts are you?

Will they do a good job? they're in cannock which ain't that far from me, I'm in Stoke.

I've heard lots of good things about them and they've had few cars in the vw mags over the years. Never used them myself just on hear say. WShat do you want doing?

Spoke to midland vw today and they don't do arch rolling but they put me in touch with a guy who does. I gave the guy a call and he said it'd probably cost round £200 because the arches on a mk2 are quite stiff so he would probably need to paint the arches, so I mentioned that I was gonna have a full respray and not to worry bout the paint job, so he said it'll only be £60. :grin:
