just to double check, what car was the diesel box from?

Diesel box is from a mk1 caddy i broke. I've got the 100mm shafts now so the mk3 box will be a straight swap.

cool the input shaft on that will defo be too small for the MK3 clutch

yeah it figured mate. Tried the old mk1 friction plate up against the mk3 box.
