I'm not that well up on the Corrado to be honest, a mate of mine had a VR6 and it was superb but pricey to run.

Probably best to go on a corrado specific forum for more detailed info:

http://the-corrado.net/forum/portal.php or http://www.corrado-vr6.info/links.htm

They did a G60 golf in mk2 form but they are pretty rare to get hold of i think.

The big question is how much are you prepared to pay for:

a) the car

b) running costs

If neither is an issue i'd get a Corrado VR6, you won't be disappointed.

The G60 engine is 160bhp stock, no matter whether it's in the Mk2 Golf or the Corrado, so only 10bhp less than the 2.8 VR6 but the Corrado did get a bigger 2.9 VR6 which was closer to 190bhp.
The super chargers need reconditioning every 60,000 miles or so, which can be expensive.
Golf G60's only came in Left Hand Drive, if you see one as RHD, then it's had a conversion.
Corrado G60's did come in RHD though.

ABS on the Mk3 and Corrado can be a problem, and some people when selling the cars, just disable the ABS warning bulb so people don't notice the problem.
