I have a 96 8v GTI, it keeps cutting out in 2nd on the approach to junctions etc. The rotor arm was cleaned a while back which did improve the situation, but it's back now. It doesn't get a lot of mileage (100 miles/week), but it does get the odd thrashing every now and then. Any help/guidance greatly appreciated.
