I ran Yoko A539 on my 106, which were excellent in the dry. Didn't last for toffee - got 5k out of a set of 4 - and gripped in the wet like something that doesn't grip very well*

* I tried, I really did. :laugh:

You get my drift, anyway.

Probably go for some Falken's or TOYO-R1's when I get round to it.
Virtually everything I know about the workings of the internal combustion engine can be written on the back of a small stamp with a large marker

My wife has them on her Mk3 Tdi and although they have never received a thrashing they are teh dog's bollocks,  had a set of Avon Av's on it before and at £70 a tyre were sh!t in the wet and fast wearing,  Hey up the Nankangs

If it is a 90 mph per hour wind and you drive your car at 90mph downwind, if you stick your head outside would you feel the wind?

I had nankangs on my old MK2 Polo, reasonably good grip, relatively inexpensive but they wore out quickly.

Tbh goto: www.topgear.co.uk or www.mytyres.co.uk & order some Toyo Proxes T1-R tyres :D - unbelievable grip, great in the wet & arn't too bad on ice / snow compared to most others. (£166 for 4! including delivery & fitting @ topgear.co.uk!)
