When i got my first car (1000cc mini) i drove everywhere with my foot welded to the floor

 calmed down a bit but did learn alot , like how to heel n toe , and take on cars much larger and faster than your own

like neaty tho ive calmed ALOT since back then

well when speeding always take precautions. and u shouldnt do it all the time or else u may never get to see ur lovely car again

erm.... the fastest ive been... well guess thats what ever the boeing 747 does when its at full chat... lol...

other than that on the land err...

about 180 on my zx9r only for a second to see what it would do.. and too fast for me!!

did 155 im me mates old bmw m3 evo after dropping him off at airport... (apparently it would have gone faster if derestricted or something?)

and fastest vw is the vr6 track hack... had 142 showing on the clock.. but it doesnt feel safe at all...

all of the above were on a private runway... hehe

i've had 136 (on the clock) twice in my GT TDI 150, have had 127 on the GPS (different occasion) not sure what the clock said though

hmm, about 120mph in the 8v on track..... Porka GT3s going past me like I was going backwards..... lol

no more than 100mph in my 16v a couple of times ,cant do any more these days and getting old.
152mph in my old 254bhp series 1 rs turbo about 8years ago.
180mph in a 540bhp cossie about 10 years ago.

havent got a gti no more but in my mk2 1.8 8v GL (4+E Gearbox) i got a 119 racing a blue golf down A45 from welly to northampton bluw it away

About 120 in my 8v

wouldn't go any faster than that tbh, unless on a track or something.

Straight top speed runs are boring though, bring on the little twistys I say!
