Mk2 golf seems to be leading the way
there are more of us but that speaks for itself
Mk1 too much of a bean can feeling
mk2 fun and fast with good roadholding.
mk3 too safe and lardy
mk4 see above post although might have a tdi as a daily driver
mk5 not too sure on the styling seems to drive well but still feel detached from the car.
So mk2 golf is my favourite
