you cant either buy a bailey one (they do list them for a 1.8t) or demontheives and forge do a kit to move the dv valve to the front of the car so it can be heard from outside

Hi are you talking about this?
http://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk/content.asp?inc=product&cat=1703&product=FMCSDVR

i have found this [url http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Bailey-DV26-Dump-Valve-Golf-MKIV-1-8T_W0QQitemZ230072806292QQihZ013QQcategoryZ72205QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting[/url] valve will fit my car but you have said:

it will just confuse the engine management because it is blowing air into the atmosphere
u need a recirc one like the 2nd and 3rd one

will the bailey work fine or i will have a problems later on?

the secound option is the relocation kit
http://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk/content.asp?inc=product&cat=1703&product=FMCSDVR
but this will cost me £70 more as i could sell the 007 valve if use bailey one.and i thing it want sound as good as the atmosferic valve anyway.
what is the relocation kit for anyway?
please advise

thanks thomas

on the golf it really needs to put the air back into the system not blow it away into the atmosphere

i have asked a guy i know who has been fitting the bailley valves and he says he has had no problems ???

just make sure it is the one listed for your vehicle

good luck

Vag engines need recirculating dump valves. If you put on an atmospheric dump valve it will make your car go nuts. My mate has a 1.8T (audi TT) engine in a Mk1 GTI, he has a stand-alone ECU and a forge bailey dump valve. Works fine with the stand alone ECU but wouldn't work well with a normal ECU with the normal airflow sensor. This is all from his mouth, so if Ive been spouting crap for the last couple seconds, i apologise!
