what little black box are we on about?? the one with the fuses in ontop of the battery or the air box???

not the battery with the fuses on the top, looking into my engine, that is on the right, it is on the other side of the car, at the front, so i guess that might be the airbox, as I said, I have NO technical knowledge at all yet but am trying hard to play catch up!
