TPS is linked to ABS sensors and reads any changes to the rolling circumference of the tyre, which changes when it deflates. There is a button in front of the gear lever to reset the TPS with the ignition switched on when you have adjusted the tyre pressures (hold and press the TPS button for more than 1 second until audible tone is heard) and a warning light in the dash pod.

Thats genius, but must get slightly confused with tyre wear. I guess it looks for quicker changes in circumference.

Ok, GTi is nearly here but the Monza 2's are sporting black plastic valve caps. Is this right? I'm sure it should have alloy caps as previously discussed.

What have the 56 reg boys got?

The car came with them on, but as I've said before, because I bought it from an importer I dont really have much of an idea whether they are standard spec or not - it was very much a case of take it or leave it!
