wherever you get the seats from should be able to sort you out some subframes. if not demon tweaks do a massive range.

Seats are side mounted, and due to different people driveing the car i need to move them around.

So phoned Demon Tweeks, they want £163 plus VAT for pair, plus the brackets to go from the side mount to the subframe.

Over £200 plus VAT, which works out more than the seats (£250 pair of GRP seats)

So doubt i will be fitting them unless anyone has any going spare/cheap?

All Side mount seats are this way and really only shold be used when there is one person using the car.

What you need is a seat that has a base mount if multiple people will be driving the car.

I have a set of subframes for sale, its just the base but it has forward and backward movements so the seat is not bolted in just 1 place.

The seats are based on an FIA design, very very well made, ultra light (4kgs if that) and avaible in various colours and with your name added on also avaible.

Whilst i have fitted these to my Minis and kit car, however the GF wants to drive the Golf too so need em to be movable.

Will check out your prices and if ok will have to make my own brackets from side to base.

How hard can it be?

If you are a competant welder and have access to the equipment it should be a doddle.
