Window Runners
«

atfer several visits to my local stealers (who shall remain nameless cos they are sh!ite and don't bother to tell me exactly what is wrong with my car!) i've found out from the guy who actually worked on my car that i require new window runners.
Cost - £182.13
Anyone had their runners replaced and been hit with a similar eye-watering bill?
?
BTW I'm not having the work done at that price!! Bit of silicon spary keeps it moving along nicely; fair bit cheaper than £182

has anyone had a problem with the runners?
and do you expect them to fail after just 4 years??
my local dealers have blamed it on the recent hot weatherÂÂÂ
feck knows how often they are replaced in the likes of Dubai etcÂÂÂ

Sh!TÂÂÂ
oh well I've just written a letter to the stealers asking them to explain how it can happen on a window that's hardly used!!
not only that they left my handle disconnected and took a big chunk out of the grab handle on the door!!ÂÂÂ
and they neglected to tell me i couldn't have a courtesy car cos I'm under 25. found out the morning i dropped it off
