I havent got a pair of these but I have got two sets of Vibe speakers and there very good, I've heard that these are awsome and this seems like a good deal.

Have a look at Infinity then!

Any of them will do really, but stick to the known brands. The budget ones are a bit naff!

id go with infinity, remember that they wont sound as good on anything too flexible like the standard parcel shelf.. so it depends how much of an i.c.e lover u are

I'll give you the same advice that I was given when considering 6x9s - dont!!  It's not that they're necessarily bad speakers - it's just that they are mounted 4 feet behind you!!  Ideally you want the sound to be coming at you from the front.

A quality pair of door/dash mounted components amped up will knock 6x9s in a cocked hat as far as sound quality is concerned, it won't destroy your parcel shelf, and won't be on display shouting "break in and nick me!".

when i disconnect my 6x9's i can hear the difference, theres just not a roundness of sound and ive got custom door builds and infinity components up front amped. each to their own i suppose but the 6x9's add a little mid range in my setup which makes all the difference

As said in the previous posts the sound you get from the speakers in the front is far more important than the sound coming from speakers in the back, having said that I do believe that rear speakers are worth having and provide "rear fill" and compliment any well set up system. The one thing I would advise is that the rear speakers are fitted into a MDF shelf as this gives them a solid platfrom and vastly improves the way speakers sound, if your not running a sub then 6x9's or 7x10's are the boys to go for. If you are running a sub I would just upgrade the standard 6x4's so you have a bit of mid range and treble in the back, to be fair its all down to personal choice really and I would try to listen to other peoples systems to give you some idea of what to expect from various set ups.
