From what I can gather, and I have had a bit of experience in these matters the mobile cameras generally take the pic of the front of the vehicle, are in the same lane as you, etc, the pics are recorded digitally, and unless they are taken from an overhead bridge, give a very good pic of you...or me as the case may be. In any case they have to notify you within 14 days, with a notice of intended prosecution.
