When I accellerate in 4th (and in 5th but not as bad) my golf holds back in a big way, it stops at 4000 revs and 80 mph and doesnt wanna go. its really strange, it does it in 5th too and now its started doing it in 3rd as well but at different revs. i've heard that it could be the air flow metre and that its quite common. what does anyone think? anyone else had the same problem??
