rocker cover gaskets ????

does any one know if a mk 3 rubber rocker cover gasket will fit my mk2 driver

nah dnt think they will mate, but they are not dear anywhere try ur local GSF dealer of autofactors, shouldnt be much. or just try www.gsfcarparts.com (might be .co.uk but am not sure)

yes they do as its the same as the late 8v gti rocker cover gasket. but you need the matching studs to go with it as well.

yes indeed they fit, VW sell a repair kit for the MK2 which includes all the studs.  Its actually cheaper to buy this than it is to buy the rubber gasket on its own  :grin:

and the vw gasket is a metal/rubber affair and is quite frankly sexy.........
