golf mk4 computor :-/ and remote locking

Hi, got a 1998 mk4 golf, i want the computor, were it shows the doors open, and the millage etc just under the petrol indicators etc, how do i get that? what needs to be changed etc, also i want standerd remote locking, how would i fit that, what would i need? went to vw told me sumit about a frequncy said its too hard and told me to do one basically, really need help!!!! thanx ppl

I dont think you can set up the computer for base models,  it would need a new loom clocks and all the rest to work. Most alarm companies would easily be able to fit an alarm with RCL for around £300

the earlier mk4 golfs never had that display mate, post 2001 i believe

yee i knw, but ive herd some 1999+ models have it, i just want to know if its possible to change....and make my 1998 model have it, its a 1.6 S if you needed to know what.

also i knw other alarms like toad etc do remote locking, but i want the vw flip key one ( all i know is i need a frequency :-/

Could find a mk4 in a scrapy and rob it of its locking mechanism and might be able to add rcl by vagcom
