well at the end of day 2 the dash is in and secured at the top. heaters are sort of working. although it took 20 mins to clear the screen with the aid of the hair dryer

it's because I'm missing a section of pipe to connect the dash to the matrix. will add that in tomorrow.
you have to lower the steering wheel annoyingly when you do this swap. at the moment it's far too low and almost hits my legs! I'll raise it up another inch tomorrow as I have work in an hour and it's too dark to do anymore work.
Electrics and switches are still running mk2 style. The fire extinquser is always to hand incase the worst happens. The mk2's clocks are wedged in there at the moment, but are fully functioning so I'm legal to drive it.

Wire up mk3's switches
link up what I can of the heaters
work out how I'm connecting the mk3's controls to the mk2's heaters.
Raise steering wheel!
