hey all
just quick little update

im back into working on the golf after months and months of neglecting it

got alot sorted out today
tomorrows job paint engine bay just hammerite though
wont see the bits as engine will be in the way

painted the subframe
saved up my money to send her away to be finished

getting engine wired and hydraulics fitted for clutch
and g60 brakes and uprated suspension

then it will go back in garage so i can potter on will the cleanin
been off the road since last september thought it was about time
to get the vr6 fired up :smiley:

hopefully 2 month should be nearly done
just hope engine starts as it aint moved since september

Don't make the same mistake I did, I've just converted my Mk1 to 16v using a siezed lump  :rolleyes:

Make sure its moving now and put a bit of oil each bore to keep it all fresh & then turn it at least once a week to be sure -  You wouldn't believe how anoyying it is having to do another engine swap having just done one that you didn't even get to use  :angry:

well car goes away next saturday just finished painting the engine bay

so looks alot better everythings hooked up ready to roll
cant wait till i can drive her again :grin:
