My first aid kit was strapped into the boot, using the strap. and the fire extinguisher in the plastic tray opposite.
If your first aid kit isn't strapped into the boot where is it??
Not sure about RHD cars but on my LHD gti there is a specific cubby hole in the glove box (at the top), made for the manual, fits perfect.
That makes sense, it's not the law in the UK to carry first aid kit and fire extinguisher.....

Its not the law here either, but I'd sooner have them in the boot than not!, non of its expensive stuff. But the fire extinguisher isn't exactly light!.ÂÂÂ
