WAITING LIST TIMES?

Hey people,

went into a vw dealer in south ruislip a couple of weeks ago, was told that buying a new golf GTi id have to wait 8 to 12 weeks for delivery? i've heard some people on here waiting 3 months? is the dealer telling pokies?

we were told 4 months fella, but the motor arrived in 2 months....   :cool:

I ordered mine in December and was told it would arrive in June but it was here is April  :laugh:

Dealer told me 8-10 weeks, when i pick up saturday it will have been 8 weeks 4 days  :grin:

Ordered early March, told 12 to 16 weeks delivery time, arrived in the UK after 7 weeks!

did you have such a short time to wait as you did not spec yours up but instead took one they had coming in which was a cancelled order or the like?  Probably why they discounted too?
