Surprised he has time to post so much on here, dont VR6's go bang every 80k? :)

Yep thats why VW and Audi are using the narrow angle 15 degree chain driven engines in their new cars, including the TT. Hows ya mk1 , has it rotted away yet?  :-*

When are they going to start putting  them in the TT? I'm planning on buying another TT coupe in a couple years but if they are going to start putting VR's in them I may hold off until they do that then. :)

Hiya mate, welcome to the forum. I buy a lot of stuff from Maplins too........need to purchase an inverter before next years shows as I had to return the one I borrowed this year to its rightful owner ::)

As you may have noticed you get a lot of banter etc., in the 'chat' section..........however, there is loads of informative and useful advice to be gleamed from the other sections........some good knowledgeabe, experienced people here.

Hi all! ;D
I'm new to this forum just thought i'd intruduce myself.
My names Matty,
I'm 23 years old
I live in Watford
I work for Maplin Electronics
I drive a white mark1 golf gti 1.8 8v convertible and an red mark2 golf gti 1.8 16v

I have purchased these cars as restoration projects but don't have a great deal of money to spend on them  :(
Hopefully i can get some helpfull tips for my cars and if i have any helpfull tips i will be happy to offer my advice.

you can get a kit which consists of a inverter for a ps2 and a monitor / screen for a ps2 aswell, for under ?100, sounds a possibility to me!
