What about camber? thats easier to maintain if not using an aftermarket strut, also i've never known an insert not to come out.

Hi,

I am thinking of getting the blistein kit from eurocarparts.com.  IT says it lowers the car by -40mm.

Since I have a golf gti 8valve which apparently are lowered -20mm already would the kit lower it a further 20mm?

I have 17's on  my golf, and I will be getting g60 arches aswell.

Can anyone tell me whether this will work?

thanks!

camber will be just as adjustible, the holes will be the same size surely. Its the bolts which you can change for more camber adjustment.

Yes camber will still be adjustable, but thats not the point, if you re-use the original strut it will easier to keep to original fitted position with marks, so no camber adjustment will be necessary.

Ah I see what you mean, but if you replaced your suspension with a lowering kit you'll have to get it checked anyway, lining up the marks isn't going to help you!

True, anything more than a 25mm drop would make the marks useless
