Ahhh thats whats its called, had the paint code no idea what it was called. Had mine 2 weeks now, originally said i would only have Oak green, i think this is just as good now.

Got to say Black golfs look lush but they are all over up here so I went for the Monza Blue wanted graphite grey though :(  it's really grown on me whilst I've had it and you don't see many about although I've seen three in 2 days so might be more moving north!!

Probably got lost in the "Great Crash of 08

Being a little biased it has to be Royal Blue Metallic of course!

Closely followed by either Atlas Grey or Capri Green

If we are talking just for Mk2 Golfs, then clearly the best colour is bright blue metallic...not just because I own one, or even because they only made 500...but just because it looks amazing.

Otherwise it depends very much on the car itself, for instance I'm not really keen on white cars, but a Honda R-Type looks great in white. Same with yellow, most cars look bent in yellow...but a Lotus or Lambourghini really pulls it off.

Black is pretty much the only universial 'good' colour for any car, but I'd never own a black car...it only looks amazing for about 30mins after you've cleaned it!

Red looks great when its properly polished & waxed. but you need to be doing it every blooming week!!

for some bizarre reason i always like the calypso blue - (LA6Z) and Diamond Silver (L97A)

AFAIK they didnt make big bumper 16v's in the silver [:(]
