I thought the rear dampers were adjustable off the car on the SSK.

How have you found the kit generally, good quality? Also did you fit it yourself or get it fitted, if so how much?

I've been looking at the SSK for my 16v. Cheapest i've found it is £350 at larkspeed.

ok so far, they look spot on sitting the car a lot lower over my 17's, i paid big boys toys £449 and that also had them fitted, my issue is the rear doesnt appear to be on car adjustable and mine is far too bouncy at the back, with 1 person in my tyres hit the trim around the arches on small bumps, even with just me if i hit a bump in the road wrong its hitting, pissed me off really! i want to know how to adjust and how easy this will be, if not im gonna have to go back to big boys toys and ask them to adjust cos its set far too soft.

I dont know for sure but i think the rears may not be adjustable on this set. Dont quote me on that though. Best call BBT's and ask.

I've recently fitted the SSK kit and the rears are only adjustable off the car. You compress them fully, then turn the piston to adjust. You'll have to go back to BBT unless you can do it yourself.
Have a look at my blog for instructions if you want to give it a try.

Seeing as how you've just had it changed, they should have no issues at all with stiff nuts/bolts so it should all come apart easily. I'd guestimate no more than two hours for the job.

had work done, deafo much better, it was on lowest setting!!! now set abou 3/4 of way. handles much better, no bounce, yay!!
Still one more job to tackle, the trim still catches towards the front of rear arch if hitting a bump. booked in on thurs to have this trimmed back and arch rolled back.

Did you say the £449 included fitting from big boys toys?

Seems very cheap
