After a longtime of searching and waiting for my Civic Type R to sell, I've bought my MK2 GTi. It's a Tornado Red, 5 door, 8v GTi. It wasn't really what I had in mind but was the best condition Golf I looked at, either 3 or 5 door, 8v or 16v. It was cheaper than i was planning on spending too ( as was budgetting for a 3 door 16v) but this can now be used to do the small things that I want to do myself.
Need to change the wheels as I hate the ones on it (TSW's i think they are) and also want to spend a few pennies on getting as much out of the engine as possible (as it does feel a wee bit less powerful than my typeR
) but all in all I'm really happy with it!!
Once i get my computer at home up and running properly I'll post up all my pics, I've taken quite a few since buying her, so you can all see what it is thats put a bigger smile on my face than most of my previous cars, just because of the stature and character she has.
Just wanted to put my smile into words for you all,nÂÂÂ
