nice. how much did u pay for your car? my mk2 was my dads till he got a mk3 so i got givin the mk2. thought i mares well just rag it as its free! then in the mean time i got a sh!te load of money building up in the bank for my next car.  8)

Got my car for ?1500 with all the sound system, history etc etc but the common faults kicked in >:(

What car u looking to get next?

i want a mk2 golf. the fastest i can get.

ive got a 1.8 gti jetta. thats going though. still drove it around for a while.  8)

i was thinking about getting a old skool bmw lol.

but i could never leave the VW world

yeah same as. I dont think ill ever sell my car.

fast standard mk2 golf = 16v
8v's are slow but good fuel econemy

If you damage the roof enough then it will be classed as a rite-off, u can then flog the decent parts  :P

 ;D then all i have to do is rip off the under side of the steering wheel, connect the red and black together with the blue wire near by. put sum gloves on the drivers seat.

perfect setup.

then i jsut take all the sh!t off it like head unit and sub and report it stolen the next morning when they descover it in a near by field all nicely written off lol.

i dont know much about hot wiring. Is the blue wire used for starting the car once the black and red wires are connected?

here it is for u step by step:

pull off the left bottom bit of plastic. the ignition key slot part runs down about aslong as half a smarty packet. on the end u will find a coin shaped bit of plastic with 3 wired pushed into it.
rip these off and u will have a red, black, and blue.
connect the red and black, this will connect the battery circuit. all the wipers and fans will start goin on lol. The blue wire goes to the starter motor. connect this to the red and black to no more than 2 seconds. hey presto!  8)
