i would speak to the girl and try and "put the wind up her" so to speak. by saying that most car buyers will now HPI a car, especially a GTI as alot of have had prangs. wave some money under her nostrils aswell

my car is a cat d write off it was hit by some bird in a corsa and id only had it 6months was a genuin motor.the insurance paid out 1600 bucks which is what i paid for it and then a year later i was hit up the arse by a knobber with no insurance in his work van!i took the owner of the work van to court and sued him for the cost of repairs to my car which was £987 more than what the car should have been worth and im still driving the ripper around!well thats a lie at the mo cos its not running!lol

at the end of the day when they are a cat d or c write off as long as they drive straight and look good and youre getting what you want out of it,it doenst m,atter untill you come to sell it and you dont rip anybody off.

mine was a cat D write off in september 04, i bought it unaware of being written off in july 05 for £1350 then had it smashed into again in january 06 and it was re-valued at £900 with 13 owners and 127K totally standard in mint cond, i was expecting naff all for her tbh!!!

the good news is it never got wrote off, gettin paid £700 in cash to repair at my convenience and it doesnt go down as being cat D x2!
see this....this......this is my BOOMSTICK!
