LOL. Painful isn't the word. Its the worst pain ever. Last time if I had a gun I would have shot myself it was so bad. I know why they lock the windows in the rooms.  :-\

as if u lot could handle watching that......

Why not? I was there through my daughters birth (natural) and was in the operating room for my sons birth (C Section). Not gonna lie though. Thought I was gonna lose my lunch on my sons birth and did get a bit light headed. :) Think they should give the father some drugs too!! lol.

LOL @ drugs. Hubby wouldn't try gas and air. I would have killed him if he had taken it off me later though.  :'( Have you seen Only Fools and Horses when she gives birth. I cry laughing everytime I see that.

haven't seen that one yet. I catch it on late occasionally. How's this for a laug though. When my son was born we got to the hospital at 6am. By 7:30am they decided he was breech and upside down so it was going to be a c-section. The wife decided "f*** this i'm going home!" the doctor finally got her talked into staying around for this and wheeled her into the operating room. The nearest nurse told me to get in scrubs and go in with her. Now I am not a doctor or work anywere close to the medical field. I'm an Aircraft Mechanic. So here I am getting scrubbed up and this guy next to me keeps asking me questions about the procedure. After a couple minutes I told him look I'm not the doctor I'm the husband, I thought you were the doctor. He turns and says hell no I'm the Janitor. Then everyone else gets into the joke. "Come on doc let's go" WTF? I'm Not the damn doctor!! I'm a F****** Aircraft mechanic!! Then the person who turned out to be the doctor looks at me and says" same principal come on" Thats all I needed, hate military hospitals anyway. about to start swinging. immediatly walked out in the hall and passed the hell out. Woke up under a minute later and was fine. A big laugh had by all.  :)

Hope everything is going okay Sam !

I was present at al three of my kids births.  Eleanor and Jack were natural but Ben was a water birth.  WOW.. Now thats something I recommend to any mother if they ever have the chance.  Jen (wifey) was so so relaxed it was incredible. At one stage I thought she was going to ask me for a pina colada she was that chilled out !!! *laughs*

Hope it goes okay and please do keep us informed :)
