« on: 27 November 2003, 22:52 »
Ok so im driving down an empty dual carrige way and i hear this sound thats like a motorbike going down the road the other way..FAST you know that sound...but the road is empty.
What the hell was that?
It did it quite a few times, my friend in the car could hear it as well, the sound wasnt particuly loud. We were doing about 70.

Any idea what that might have been?

was it on the stereo? I had a Jamiroqui CD on once, and started looking about for a supercar, cos I could hear something roaring up behind me. How daft did I feel when I realised it was on the song :-[
I don't own this anymore - I just can't be arsed to change the picture

"Jet Bike 3000. Can hit speeds of up to 6000 mph"

They should have named it Jet Bike 6000, maybe they got AMD working on the name of the bike to confuse customers?

I was driving home at 3.30 in the am - when I noticed a crackling noise coming from the dash near the windscreen. It was very regular - kinda like a thrumming or maybe the distant sound of frying bacon.

I turned the stereo down and the noise persisted

I tried in vain (as I was driving) to locate the sound - and it seemed to have no definite source.

Then I noticed my windsreen wipers perform an intermittant sweep. . . . . .

It was raining.

D'oh! :-[

I must remember not to smoke so bloody much.
