Space saver spare wheel

Hey,

After taking the back seats out of my car, i'm after a space saving spare wheel, so that it'll sit flush with the boot floor so I can run some carpet straight over it.

Where can I get one of these, i can'tfind any on the net, and i'm guessing they have to be specific to my car.

you can get the flat boot carpet out on any gti which came with the space saver, i got my space saver and flat carpet from a bloke breaking a gti for a 10er, they also have carpet for the sides of the boot too

If you were nearer to Cambridge you could have bought one I have spare. Posting it would be a bit of a pain!

I have one for sale. But as said postage wont be cheap! Im im up North so cant deliver.

Just got back from a breakers, as i knew they had a Gti.

Got one for a tenner, unused.

 

I also went in Carpet Right and bought 1.5m x 4m of black carpet to reline the boot and where the back seats would have been! Only 25 quid!

I'm going back with tools at somepoint to remove the carpet over the wheel arches inside.
