my m8 in work, bought a 5dr 1.8T....his key only opens the drivers door???? can Vagcom sort that???

^^ i quite fancy losing the one door opening gimmick too!

Unless you get access to VAG-COM, then you'll just have to keep double pressing the fob for passengers. :sad:

It wouldn't be that bad, but not every 'double press' works.  You can need 3 or 4 attempts, sometimes.  :angry:

My mrs just stands there with a look of disgust, as if I'm keeping her out in the cold on purpose! :grin:

I also have a Discovery which has the same arrangement so I am used to it - still don't care for it though.

3 times and the windows open?!?!!?!  :undecided: not on mine it dont  :huh: if you put the key in and unlock the car and hold the key in the unlock position then all the windows open same if you lock the car with the key and hold it there the windows close, my fob wont operate the windows, need to mess round with vagcom for that  :undecided:

and you will need additiional wiring in the car too, the kit is about £100 and then the windows will open/close or vent, so will the sunroof :cool:

not sure on all models, looked into ot on mine 2002 aum and i need to fit additional wiring harness apparently :undecided:
