Will my Mk.3 8v Gti look crap on 17's? Anyone got a pic of stock ht Gti on 17's?

I have 17" on a standard hight, the ride is harsh but not to bad.
I also want to lower mine and have looked at the eibach springs on standard shocks like monkeyalan suggested.
does any one have pictures of this setup?

What would you suggest......
eibach -35mm springs with standard shocks which is my first choice.....
other type of springs -40mm onwards or
I know coilovers is the way so what type is good without spending to much like koni I was thinking of FK

Mine has 17" and looks better but I think it needs to be dropped abit to finish the look.

Well all I can say is from those pics of lowered cars - mine dont look any different!!!

So dont bother spending money on shocks and springs!!!!!
