sorry just read the start of this thread, bollocks to keeping it stock!! i'm not talking stupid mods but golfs are much better with a few tweaks, ie lowered, nice wheels, nice interior, few performance mods. you can keep it looking street sleeper but even moving the rear wiper improves on an already great design so do the mods but keep them subtle! in my opinion............

modding is ok if it is kept tasteful and is blended as much as poss. with factory. no wings or cack like that

exactly my sentiments over a year ago! although i have changed my mind on 'stock' engines. i want fast.
