despite bein a 1.4 and blatenly havin drum breaks on the back i still get ppl ask if its an anni edition, what wolfsberg edition is it, is it an 8 or 16 valve or even a vr6. Does it really matter a toss? I am me, thats my car, i love it, and somehow we hav ended up talkin over this interweb thingy.

thats the best mk3 ive seen..ever! its just clean and subtle..

.....
don't see the point to this rivalry thing. it's just a hobby

We are all enthusiasts with a common interest. We all enjoy our cars, the shows and generally get along. Lets not allow politics and the general running of each club/forum interfere with what we enjoy.
I think this them & us attitude is unhealthy, we all have something  to contribute to our VW world.

I Agree with both of these comments, the rivalry thing is pointless, the forums/clubs are just different that's all.

... it's turned into a fashion show for poofters.

I don't see the point of boasting that you can change all 4 discs and pads on a golf in one hour, no-one can, but thats what some people are like on clubgti. It doesn't impress anyone that works on their own car.

Oh yeah, I can bugger up all four brand new coilovers on my car in seconds - I snapped the top adjuster off within minutes of fitting them, had to send it back leaving the car suspension less!!!

Each to their own, and thats that!!
