I had my PD150 go back to the dealers two weeks after I picked it up when I had water collecting in the passenger and rear footwells.

It turns out that I had a kinked air conditioning vent pipe, and condenstaion was building up and not being able to vent to atmosphere. This meant that the water was running back down into the car.

As well as checking out your rear wash wipe (as this is common fault) get your heating/vebtilaion/air con checked too.

Welcome to the wondeful world of Mk4's!

cheers kniterider

think you've sussed this problem spot on.  Followed chris's

http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/golfstuff/rear_screen_washer_repair.htm

repair guide and all ok in the washer end connection area.

That said, in testing to see if connector dodgy, squirt, squirt, squirting away as you do, noticed small damp patch on the rear passeger 1/4 side roof lining.

Opened the First aid /cd changer compartment and leak found.  Squirted a bit more and true enough, major leak, but not sure if this a diy repair.

The area where leak appears to be coming from is from behind the vertical passenger rear 1/4 pillar. Section looks to be separate from main roof headlining and may just lift out, after many slicing of digits getting trim out of way first.  Hopefully theres asmall burst pipe hehind, ie easy repair.

Any suggestions.  Will have a go probably this weekend.

cheers

Mark
