Your White VW Golf GTI Mk2 On Television - ITV Need Your Help - NOW CLOSED

Hello,

ITV is currently producing a primetime national television program to be broadcast in the Spring.

For a single day of our London filming, we are hoping to incorperate a working white VW Golf GTI (Mk2) into the proceedings. If you own or know of a car of this type based in the London area, please let us know on the number below - your car could end up having its fifteen minutes of fame.

sorry chris but this has to be said:

i do a fair bit of tv vehicle work and it can be boring and there are times when your car is abused.  we get £400 per day plus the free canteen. so if you are putting your car up for this job, get the fair pay that everyone else is earning.  many even offer to do it for free!!!!

had a friend do this for a cadburys advert and they totally wrecked his motor he wasnt happy

my friends truck was used for one day and they dropped a camera on a boom on the bonnet hard enough to scratch down to the metal.  you'd think the price of those cameras they'd be very careful.  remember when you lent that tool or DVD to your mate and it was broken or scratched?  its the same effect, some of  these guys dont give a rats ass about your car.  keep your eyes open especially on cop shows those actors are constantly thrown against the cars..  makes me cringe everytime. but i will say ive been on shoots that were fine and the directors and camera guys really appreciate the vehicles and do show respect for your baby.

they will want a mint example of a golf gti.... probably want a standard looking clean white golf gti....

i remember when there was same type of ad in london for a mk2 in red for the kelloggs advert.
