good luck on gettin it insured! goin to cost almost as much as the car!

And to be honnest I would deffinately get a 1.8t over an mr2. as standard the 1.8t has slightly stiffer susps than other models i think, but if you look around and are prepared to travel you may even find one thats already on coilovers or at least been dropped a bit. will work out less than lowerin it yourself.

So are you workin then? surely you wont be buyin one of those on a students budget!?!

thats the best mk3 ive seen..ever! its just clean and subtle..

I'm a man so wouldn't get the MR2 on principle, but it would be a tough choice. Rear wheel drive is mightily appealing!

^^^^

Hi! yeah i would go for the golf too! (but as you said we are all biased )

Insurance will be bad enough on the golf let alone an mr2 turbo as they are jap imports. MR2's are cheaper too buy tho.

ok, im gonna have to respond to all your posts in order as im getting ocnfused

1) Insurance is only £1100 golf is £950 1 years no claims    (thats on diamond i love bing female )
2) No im a "student" and i work, but i got given a car worth about 2k, so it all adds up. plus got some money saved
3) Real wheel Drive =     , however, i shall have to keep the keys hidden if i got it, as i have had, lets say afew requestes to "rag it in the car parks" from certain people...sooooo not happening...
4) yer, il be lookin to spend about 4k on the mr2, so il be able to get a nice 96 gt (possibly t-bar) for that, as i will have about 5 or jsut over to spend, so id rather get a mint mr2 than a not so hot 1.8t
5) thanks for the offer, its a lovely looking car, (assuming its the one in ur pic) but if i do get a golf it will be a 3dr
