It might of just been my sh!tty volvo that was crap(yes, i did say volvo :embarassed:)   And it was auto so a bit hard to tell if it was any quicker TBH mate.  (jeez, did i realy own an auto volvo 440??????? :grin:)

Tried that resistor this morning, pluged it into the air temp sensor on the airbox, and it was crap :angry: after 5 minutes I stoped and took it off, cos when you put your foot down, it just guddered, unless i put it on wrong. so do I? if not then forget using these resistor type things, crap :sad:
Any comments lads?

I thought as much mate unfortunatly :sad:  They are a total waste of money especialy as the resister costs pennys to buy from any electrical shop!!!!!!!!

i e-mailed one guy from ebay,and he said its was harder to wire the chip into a later gti(needs 2 wires)i had a look at mine and its got 3,what year is yours.mines a 97 agg engine with the hitachi mas.
who did you get it from,do you have the gaybay link
