Will certainly be an OKish car to drive, nice interior, very economical, quite swift.

However, if you like giving it some welly down the A and B roads, think u will be very disappointed. Buy it for the engine, interior, low depreciation, image etc, but not for its dynamic abilities (Ford Focus a better bet for that). The 1.8t gti isn't exactly a nimble performer, so without sports susp, i dread to think........

Best thing to do is go to your local car supermarket, where you can test drive without being bombarded by thousands of follow up calls and make your own mind up. It all depends on whether you want a fun car, or just a car for getting to A-B economically and in a bit of style.

Try an auction Ex fleet sale. SHould be plenty of 3 year old cars with no expense spared FSH. Lots to go at and keen pricing.
