if it's on a 52 plate there is a good chance it will actually be a 115bhp model and therefore will indeed be the PD version......could be wrong like but you never know....

The garage told me it was 100bhp and as i dont get it till tomorrow i cant check if its a 115bhp!

Re-map it to 150bhp is exactly what id be wanting to do. Is this qn easy job to do ?? how much would it cost and also is there any links out there of similar 150bhp's done ??

Are you sure its a GT TDi?  they only came in 115bhp, 130bhp and 150 i think
The 100  bhp model is an SE could be this

Whats the torque figure?
If is a PD it will be around 180 lb ft.

picked the car up today, its a 100bhp S TDI PD, Not  GT 

Its unbelievable how much nicer it is to drive compared to my old mk 2

not too bad mate to be honest. MPG is bloody amazing, done just over 200 mile last night and couldnt believe it!! I was well impressed wth the car. Had some major cramp in me legs after i got out though, now its time to get the ICE install done, dont know who at VW had the bright idea of installing a CASETTE player  :   with the CD player
