A bit over the top IMO , but I reckon we've all seen a lot worse things than that done to a Mk1 .

I'm not a great fan of huge body kits to be honest :undecided:.

I believe some company made a very similar kit for the Mk2, which suited it a bit better but didn't look as cluttered.

The Rieger kit for Scirocco's was also popular back in the day .

i actually quite like it , jus that spoiler is horrid , but everyone to their own taste. an a similar kit for a mk2 is in excess of 2 grand , dunno how much the mk1 kit is but would think it'd be bout same

At least it's only a 1300 that's been butchered. It was a GTI/Campaign then that would irritate me more.

Apart from from the rear spoiler and 18 million lights in the front bumper, it's passable.

Still wouldn't drive it...

Its ok, I give him credit for tryin somethin different, altho he says he spent 9grand..
285/40/15 rear wheels on a mk1
the front bumper does look a little odd like a squashed raddo bumper

Looks like corrado bumper and those lights don't match the round headlights or the chrome surround on grill.

Didn't know that golf was still in the area . I don't know who owns it now, but the bloke who put the kit on it used to come in to the VW dealership were I worked in Lewes and he spent a small fortune ordering allsorts of trims etc and that was a getting on for 9-10 years ago .
We all thought that it was a bit of a waste especially only being a 1300 .although I think he was planning on fitting at least a GTI lump in it .
(but at least our parts manager was happy £Â£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£Ã‚£ )

It also may look a bit better if it was lowered  IMO
