Coolant leve low alarm
« on: 16 April 2026, 07:53 »
On Tuesday this week was driving home and
A loud "coolant low alarm" went off in the car
Pulled over immediately!! Engine temp was 100
No white smoke out of rear not steam/smoke from front and
When I checked the coolant level was above min but not to max
Tbh I haven't never looked where it sat. I topped up when I got home and been driving it
Ever since no more alarms temp never goes over 90degrees
No leaks or signs of leaks in interior engine bay.

Calling VW today as I'm a little paranoid now but was wondering if anyone experienced anything similar??
If so what was it or anyone suggest any things to check I haven't?

2025 mk8.5 .
Cheers all

Probably the air bubble in the coolant system problem. Quite common.
