In general do you have to ask for your brand new carto be delivered with all of the white protective wrapping on?
Or is that not a 'thing' anymore?
I’d always ask for the protective wrapping to be removed - the dealer can’t inspect the car for damage as part of the PDI if the wrapping’s left on.
Cars can - and do - get damaged in transit from the factory to the dealership; if you ask the dealer to leave the wrapping on and you discover damage when you - or a detailer - remove it (the wrapping) after you’ve left the dealership, you’ll be on your own to get the damage fixed at your expense.
