I haven't ordered one so far Paul!  I may reconsider if VW start discounting them but I really can't see that happening.  I'm also really enjoying my Black Edition 8.5R and I live in hope that an RS3 engined version may appear next year!

In general do you have to ask for your brand new carto be delivered with all of the white protective wrapping on?

Or is that not a 'thing' anymore?

I ask them to leave on cos it goes straight to the detailers and they prefer it with the stickers on. If you say nothing they’ll obviously take them off for when they present you the car.

Also, that’s not my car, mine don’t have PP 😬

Maybe it’s a dealership car rather than a customer’s. A dealer won’t worry too much what alloys it’s got - someone will buy just it because it’s an ED50.

I dare say some people will like those alloys - we’re all different with our own likes and dislikes.

I don’t generally like black wheels, but, with the little Tornado Red glaze to match the body, it makes the car stand out and look that bit more special. Each to their own I guess, but for me, the only choice was the red glaze 👌
