Winter Tyres
« on: Today at 16:45 »
Anyone run different tyres in Winter? I never did, but got a spare set of wheels so I do now.
I'll need some new ones for the coming winter, I'm up in Cumbria so it is more wet than cold and wondered if Uniroyal Rainsports would do the job?

Don't need top end tyres, not planning on hooning around in winter!

Anyone got any pointers?

I run separate winter wheels/tyres

buy proper all season or winter tyres, uniroyal rainsports are neither.

I've currently got goodyear ultragrips, they are a winter tyre. Perhaps a bit overkill for the last few years as they've seen very little snow or slush.

I don't think I need full on winter tyres though, hence wondering if Rainsports would do th job..
