HK vs Std

Having come from a non-VW car with HK to my 8.5GTi without HK, I was worried before delivery that I would miss out. However, I’ve been very pleasantly surprised by the standard system. For me, I wouldn’t say that the HK outlay would have been worth it.

Not particularly impressed with the HK upgrade. There is some bass there but a bit inadequate. The speaker quality is naff - a bit tinny despite forever faffing with the equalizer. These upgrade systems in all cars are poor value for money in my opinion and damaging to the brand names like HK, Sonos and Bose. They should be ashamed putting their names to such sh!te.

This is just what the centre speakers helps with. Really positive feedback from those with HK.
