Brake fluid possibly yes, A/C recharge? does it work ok? If so, forget it, dealer money maker.

Brake fluid yes, every 24 months on all Vag schedules from what I’ve seen, I’d have that done. Aircon I wouldn’t bother unless it’s not blowing cold. It’s a dealer money maker! Next year at third year, you’ll also need the diff oil change, but again they will try to push the aircon service

Both optional money makers neither affect warranty in any way.

For ref we got a 2015 polo blue GT we have owned from new FVSH and been under VW extended warranty every year from new. Do 85k now.

Never had aircon service at vw but done elsewhere 2 times since new.

Just had aircon pump fail and was changed under vw warranty no questions asked ref aircon service, as they are advisory not compulsory.

Brake fluid is same advisory we have had that twice since new.

Will not affect warranty for anything either if you don't have it done.

Thats not just me saying this my mate works at VW in service.

Yes I've come to dread taking my car to the dealer because they lie and pressure you to pay for all sorts of unneeded crap.

If I didn't have the all in service and warranty package I'd never darken their door because it just feels like a con every time.

I'm a manager of a garage so done air con focus
When I bought car from a dealer I got service package thrown in as part of deal to buy.
Diff oil change ? What dsg gearbox oil change? Nothing on Haynes Pro that says due diff oil change next service.
Thinking of extending service plan inc warranty or getting rid of car and buying a 2021 porsche taycan for what clubsport worth an porsche got 40k miles

Likewise, just have to be firm and say no. But still, it’s annoying and something you can be doing without.

Not darkened the dealer’s door for nearly 3 years, but their attempts to flog A/C recharges were tediously annoying🙄

Not the gearbox, but the diff that the Clubsport has. It’s in the VW manual / service guidance, from memory it’s the differential oil and filter every 3 years or 30,000-40,000 miles. I mean you can leave it, but if it’s still under a warranty plan, then worth getting it done in case of future issues to avoid vw saying it’s not been maintained to spec.
