18" Matt Gunmetal Team Dynamics Wheels
« on: 24 August 2025, 19:41 »
So after returning my Mk8 Clubsport in June, I've finally got round to taking pics of the Team Dynamics wheels that adorned it.  The wheels will be sold with the aluminium spigots, bolts and centre caps I used so you'll have everything you need to fit them to your GTI or Clubsport.  I had them on my MK8, but they will fit any Mk7, Mk7.5, Mk8 or Mk8.5.  I'd only suggest new cap stickers from eBay (for £10 a set or so) as the current ones are a bit tired.

I used them with my original VW supplied tyres (225/40/18) so they're perfect if you don't want the additional expense of changing tyres.  When I got the wheels four years ago I wrote a fair bit about them so I'll add links to some of those threads where you'll also be able to see images on my white clubby.

I'm not an obsessive detailer, hence all the wheels have minor kerb rash to varying extents but certainly no dents or damage. I've included pics of each wheel, so you can see what I mean.

I'm looking for £450 all in if you want to collect near Birmingham, otherwise happy to send via courier (at your expense!) as I have the original boxes and dust jackets, etc.

I'd rather sell in person so you can see the condition before parting with your hard earned cash.  If you're nice, I'll chuck in a tub of wheel sealant and a full set of new black Mk8 mats (for some reason the lease company gave me two sets!!) as I don't need them any more either.

Cheers, Bill

I've corrected the colour in the Thread Subject as the wheels are officially 'Matt Gunmetal' rather than 'Graphite'.

It would have helped if I'd given you the name of the wheels as well - they are "Team Dynamics Motorsport Pro-Race Y-Spoke".

Here's a link to the wheels so you can see more detail: https://www.rimstyle.com/tdpys-gmm-team-dynamics-motorsport-pro-race-y-spoke.html?filter_6uqzcdas0m=18%22&filter_bfjqioivvd=18%26quot%3B&gad_campaignid=21861724700&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD_T3mrWAE5lwpqYx3oqMaYReQYc1&gclid=CjwKCAjwiNXFBhBKEiwAPSaPCbWQx1x4tvXiPyzkplvFAWqRIY257WzI7sNPQGkcACgpy8KL7jJJFRoC7dkQAvD_BwE&tab=1&vehicleId=94087-202221&vehicleYear=2021&et=42&fitmentId=389066
